My friend and I were using an online translator to have a conversation in French. Neither of us are fluent in the language.

Its Zoidberg: altavista translator is timing out, but suffice to say, THERE IS A HGEU DIFFERENCE
TheModusOperandi: hahahaahahah

Maria's
Mood:  celebratory
For her birthday, I went with Jessica and her family to dinner last night at Maria's. I ordered the Chinese chicken salad, and it was disappointing. The dressing was flavorless. Aside from that, everything else was good. Jessica specifically wanted to go to Maria's because of their marinara sauce, which accompanies the bread that they give you. She and I were simultaneously devouring the sauce with our makeshift bread-shovels. That is how good Maria's marinara is.

Afterward, we went back to her house for cake, and then we went in the spa to watch the meteor shower. I love how Jessica shares my appreciation of crazy astronomical crap like that. And we both think its really fun that her birthday is always marked by the Perseids.

So I went to see Dr. Davidson this morning because of my bruises. I have been bruising very easily, and I felt that it was time to go have it checked out. The doctor told me that some people just bruise more easily than others, and that I should try to stay in good health and eat well, and have blood tests done. So the nurse came in and did that, and I turned my head because I didn't want to watch. But then curiosity got the best of me, and I turned and opened my eyes, and... ew.

The amount of blood that they take from you surprised me. It was more than I imagined myself parting with.

Now I am at work, and right when I am done (at 3:00), I have to go to Borders to meet Bill Jones to discuss my competing in the Toastmasters humorous speech competition. Austin says I'm not funny. But you know what, Bill thinks I can do it (and win), so I will.
